What is Aromatherapy?Aromatherapy is a system of healing through prana vata or the olfactory system in our bodies.

The olfactory bulb is directly connected to our limbic brain (emotional center) therefore is the fastest way to affect our emotional wellbeing.

Essential Oils are distilled or extracted from plant material.  They are taking the live plant healing essence or properties while leaving the physical material behind making them extremely potent and non-allergenic.  Because they are whole and unadulterated (when using pure organic therapeutic grade) the healing can be profound without causing side effects.  It’s important, because of their potency, to work with a knowledgeable aromatherapist.

Some essential oils may be too strong to use on the skin.  It’s ideal to employ Aromatherapy in the context of Ayurveda because you can tailor the treatment to your dosha.

Are you tired of taking pills and suffering their side affects? Need to improve your mood, sleep, pain management, hormone balance, or skin conditions?

Aromatherapy using pure essential oils is a natural and fantastic way to work with these issues.

“…there is virtually no people known to anthropology – however remote, isolated, or primitive – in which some form of doctoring with plants was not practiced.”  Barbara Griggs, The Green Pharmacy
